Bourbon Chia Tea with Caramelized Apple Garnish

Want to turn your autumn gathering into an Insta-worthy event? Start with the cocktails, obviously. While Pinterest has approximately 2.7 million recipes, we’ve come up with our own little drank that’s super simple to make, satisfies the sweet tooth, and really hits the spot. It’s perfect for kicking off the morning and even better to devour during cooler moments in the night.

Today we introduce Bourbon Chia Tea with Caramelized Apple Garnish. Sip, sip, hooray!

2 tbsp of Chia Tea Powder (We used Kleff’s Instant Chia Cardamom)

1 ½ Cups of hot Water

Dash of Cinnamon

½ tsp Honey

1 Shot of Bourbon (We used Gentry Bourbon)

To Make

Heat water in a kettle on the stove. Once boiling, pour into an oversized teacup. Mix in chia tea, honey and bourbon. Stir all ingredients together. Polish of the drink by sprinkling cinnamon on top.

For an extra special touch, add freshly made caramelized apples. Simply fry slices in skillet with butter and cinnamon.

**If you do not have instant chia, use your favorite mix, sweetener, and be sure to add powdered milk, almond milk, or any other steamed milk of your choice.
